I find the block quickly
Within a short period of time, I can usually see what is holding a student back and what needs to change next.

Progression archive
I was once the kid trying to figure skateboarding out for myself. Now I help students find the pieces they were missing, build confidence, and understand why progress is possible.
Featured student story
I met Luna a little over a year ago when she was a complete beginner and could barely rock to fakie in the mini bowl. She lives in Minnesota, but has flown out to skate with me around a dozen times because she believes in the way I teach. Seeing her this past weekend, she is almost unrecognizable from where she started.

What families notice
Within a short period of time, I can usually see what is holding a student back and what needs to change next.
Skateboarding is 90% mental and 10% physical. A lot of progress starts when the student finally understands how to commit.
Most people want to learn a kickflip, but you cannot learn a kickflip before you have built a real ollie.
Kids look up to my skating, but the real value is being able to explain it in a way they can actually use.
First step
The first session lets me understand the student's confidence, what is blocking their progression, and what piece they need next.
